Wonder Woman meets Robin Hood in the Channel of Time.
He looks modern slick in an alligator belt with a shiny buckle.
Robin Hood’s eyes dance as he gazes at her leather wrists,
and the tiny white bubble proclaims her the best shield ever.
Wonder Woman looks up as the arrows deflect and snap.
Robin Hood holds his sword with a polyester smile.
Wonder Woman was created by a submissive man
who wanted tie up the truth with a feminine guise.
Wonder Woman came from an island where women are strong,
armed with lassos to make men weakly confess secrets.
When you know the reason in which this symbol was created
her red lips seem desperate and the eagle on her breast caged.
Hail Wonder Woman, great-grand daughter of Hera!
I weep for you.
What are women anyway,
if not bound by an idea of what we should be.
