"Asleep at the Wheel, Weezer, Neil Young and Crazy Horse, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Roots, Florence and the Machine, I chilled out on them all," Beetle said. "Very cool weekend."
Beetle said human ignorance made his experience possible.
"People are always like 'oh, ladybug' in that cutesy voice," Beetle said. "You know what I'm thinking? I'm thinking, whatever keeps you from killing me, numb nuts."
Beetle hitched a ride with paying attendees to skate through security, a move that granted him a free all-access pass to the festival.
"What can I say? It's the bad boy in me," he said.
When asked whether he thought not paying for his ticket was fair to the performers, Beetle showed no signs of remorse.
"All my life I've been called a ladybug, which I'm neither, or a ladybird, even worse cause now you're not even in the ballpark. You owe me."
Whether Butch Beetle actually deserves the perks he took advantage of at the Austin City Limits Music Festival remains to be seen, but one thing's for sure, Butch Beetle's one tough ladybug with balls the size of melons.
