New Sensation is the third single from Kick, the third album from Australian band INXS. Originally released in 1987 the song is about a party lifestyle and reached number 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States.

Brandy was written by Elliot Lurie in 1972 and recorded by Looking Glass for their debut album. The song is supposedly about Mary Ellis, a spinster who lived in New Brunswick, New Jersey in the early 1800s.

Jive Talkin' in 1975 as a single from the album Main Course. The song was originally called "Drive Talking" and was commonly known as the Bee Gees' comeback song, marking their first hit since 1971.

Etta James covered Prince's Purple Rain on her 2006 album, All the Way. Following her 2004 Blues to the Bone album, Etta chose a set of songs that had little to do with her typical sound. We think her Purple Rain is top notch.
