Blue Skies was written by Irving Berlin in 1926 for the musical, Betsy, and first performed by Belle Baker. Blue Skies was one of the first songs featured in a talkie when Al Jolson performed it in The Jazz Singer (1927). Eva Cassidy covered it in 1996 on her album, Live at Blues Alley.

Whatever You Like is by T.I. and was released from his 2008 album, Paper Trail. The original version of the song was too risque for radio so a "cleaner" version was released and topped the charts for seven weeks. Anya Marina covered the song in 2009, and her version was featured in Gossip Girl.

A Case of You was written by Joni Mitchell from her 1971 album, Blue. On the original recording, Joni played the dulcimer and James Taylor played the guitar. Many artists have covered the song, but Prince's version for the 2007 album A Tribute to Joni Mitchell is truly fantastic.

Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It) is from Beyoncé's 2008 album, I Am... Sasha Fierce. The song won three Grammy Awards and has been covered by artists ranging from Prince and Katy Perry to Sara Bareilles and the Chipettes. Pomplamoose's covered it on video.

Landslide was originally written by Stevie Nicks and performed by Fleetwood Mac for their 1975 album, Fleetwood Mac. The song was Stevie Nick's first contribution to the band. Dixie Chicks covered Landslide for their 2002 album, Home.

Over the Rainbow, often Somewhere Over the Rainbow, was written for the 1939 movie, The Wizard of Oz. Originally sung by Judy Garland, the song won an Academy Award and has become one of the most familiar songs of the 20th Century. Israel Kamakawiwo'ole blended Louis Armstrong's What a Wonderful World in his version for the album, Facing Future.
