Electric Lemonade

THE MIX
  • 1.5 oz Citron Vodka
  • 1/2 oz Blue Curacao
  • 2 oz Lemonade (or sour mix)
  • Lemon-Lime Carbonated Beverage of Choice
  • Lemon Wedges

Fill glass with ice. Pour in Vodka, Blue Curacao, and Lemonade. Top off with lemon-lime soda. Garnish with a lemon wedge.
TOOTS' ELECTRIC LEMONADES
Toots' Electric Lemonades are made with shaved ice, Country Time Lemonade, topped with Sprite, and served with a bendy straw.

1/2 oz Vodka
1/2 oz Tequila
1/2 oz White Rum
1/2 oz Gin
1/2 oz Triple Sec
Lemon Juice
A splash of Coke

Combine alcohol into a shaker. Shake and strain into a glass with ice. Top with lemon juice and add a splash of Coke.

Toots makes the Mooseville Island Iced Teas with either peach juice or standard lemonade. 
Long Island Iced Tea History
Robert Butt invented the Long Island Iced Tea in 1972 when he entered a contest asking participants to make a new drink using Triple Sec. At the time, Butt worked at Oak Beach Inn in Long Island, NY.

Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg died on Sept. 18, 2020 from complications of pancreatic cancer. She was 87 years-old. She was the second woman to ever sit on the bench of the United States Supreme Court and the first woman in history to lie in state at the capitol.

Appointed to the Supreme Court in 1993 by Bill Clinton, the Notorious R.B.G. fought for gender and racial equality, abortion rights, police reform, incorporating foreign interpretation of law to shape American policy, and human rights across the globe. She was a warrior and an amazing person who deserves, at the very least, our utmost respect. Cheers, RBG. May you rest in peace. You've earned the rest.
THE MIX
  • 1.5 oz Apricot Brandy
  • 1 oz Bourbon
  • Ice

Fill a mixing glass with ice. Add ingredients. Stir and strain into a cocktail glass.
TOOTS'S JUDGE
Toots's Judges are made with Four Roses Bourbon, garnished with a lemon, and served in a martini glass.

  • 3/4 oz Peach Brandy

The Jack Rose

1.5 oz Applejack
1/2 oz Lime juice
1 tsp Grenadine

Shake well with cracked ice and strain into a 3 oz cocktail glass.
TOOTS'S JACK ROSES

Toots served his Jack Roses with Laird's Applejack, Jack Rudy grenadine, fresh-squeezed lime juice, and garnishes it with a cherry and apple slice.
JACK ROSE TRIVIA

The Jack Rose was popular in the 1920s and 1930s. It appears in Ernest Hemingway's 1926 novel The Sun Also Rises and is known as John Steinbeck's favorite drink.

Swap the grenadine for Italian vermouth, and you're drinking a Jersey Lightning. Drop the grenadine and add ice and ginger ale, and you're drinking a Applejack Rickey.

2 oz. Whiskey
1 oz. Pineapple Juice
Garnish of your choice

Mix whiskey and juice together and pour into a glass with shaved ice. Top with garnish of choice and serve.
