Here Comes the Rain Again - Eurythmics
Here Comes the Rain Again is from the Eurythmics album, Touch (1984). Written by Annie Lennox and David Stewart, the title was inspired by a spat the two had in New York. Lennox looked out the window and said "Here comes the rain again." The song became their second Top 10 US hit.

Love's In Need of Love Today - Stevie Wonder
Love's In Need of Love Today is from Stevie Wonder's eighteenth studio album, Songs In the Key of Life (1976). There's a lot of trivia about this album, but the song is a less-popular call for peace. As with most days these days, today we could all use a reminder to give love some love.

Livin' On a Prayer - Bon Jovi
Livin' On a Prayer is from Bon Jovi's 1986 album, Slippery When Wet. It was that album's second consecutive No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 hit and is considered the band's signature song. Though he co-wrote it, originally Jon Bon Jovi wasn't a fan, but that changed. After 9/11, the band performed an acoustic version in honor of New York and first responders.

Just Like Heaven - The Cure
Written by the Cure's frontman Robert Smith, Just Like Heaven was released in 1987 from the album Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me. It was the Cure's first US hit. Inspired by a trip to the sea shore with his girlfriend, Smith considers Just Like Heaven one of the band's strongest songs. It's been covered by several artists, including Alvin & the Chipmunks.

I Gotta Feeling - The Black Eyed Peas
I Gotta Feeling is the second single released from the Black Eyed Peas' album, The E.N.D (2009). Together with Boom Boom Pow, I Gotta Feeling made the Peas one of only 11 groups to hold the top two positions on the charts simultaneously. It was also the first song in history to sell over 7 million digital downloads and is currently the highest-selling digital single to date in the US.

Midnight Rider - The Allman Brothers Band
Midnight Rider was the second single from the Allman Brothers Band's 1970 album, Idlewild South. Though the song didn't chart well when released, Gregg Allman has said it's the song he's most proud of in his career. Written late at night and recorded in a studio Allman broke into, Midnight Rider has been covered by numerous artists, featured in several movies and TV shows, and is considered by many to be one of the best Allman Brothers Band's songs ever.
