Centerfield - John Fogerty
Drew Tyler was a coach, mentor, pioneer, and fan of girls' softball. Can't hear John Fogerty's Centerfield without thinking of him.

King of the Road - Roger Miller
Drew Tyler passed on this day, January 5, in 2013. He wouldn't want us sad today. He'd want us laughing, whistling, and singing, maybe to Roger Miller's King of the Road.

Chantilly Lace - The Big Booper
There weren't many times when Drew Tyler wasn't whistling or singing. He often imitated colorful artists like The Big Bopper. Chantilly Lace was one of his go-tos. Hellooo, baby!

Swingin' - John Anderson
Drew Tyler married Charlotte Riley on January 7, 1967 and he wooed her until the day he died, with John Anderson’s Swingin’ being the song he used most.

(Let Me Be Your) Teddy Bear - Elvis Presley
Drew Tyler did an awesome Elvis impersonation. His song of choice was (Let Me Be Your) Teddy Bear, which he sang to his Sugar Bear.

Flowers on the Wall - The Statler Brothers
Drew Tyler could sing bass, and he shined in songs like the Statler Brothers’ Flowers on the Wall. He did the “Captain Kangaroo” part really good.

Amazing Grace - Il Divo
Drew Tyler liked country and the tunes of the 50s, but he also loved gospel. He was a man of God and showed it every day he lived. Il Divo’s Amazing Grace was played at his funeral.

To my first coach/mentor, thank you for teaching me so much. You will be greatly missed by all your friends and family. Just wanted to let you know what a difference you and your family made in my life!
