Written by Maurice White, Al McKay, and Allee Willis, Earth Wind & Fire's September is a classic jam to get you up and out of your seat. It was released in 1978 and has been featured in more movies than we care to count.

September When I First Met You is from Barry White's self-produced 1978 album, The Man. Though September When I First Met You isn't one of his big hits, it's  classic Barry White and a great listen any day of the week.

See You in September was written by Sid Wayne and Sherman Edwards and originally recorded by The Tempos in 1959. It received mediocre success. The Happenings recorded it in 1966 and made it a smash hit.

The Late September Dogs is from Melissa Etheridge's 1988 self-titled debut album. The album was re-released in 2003 with a bonus live disc. Though the song isn't one of her more popular tunes, it's still a powerful ballad.
