1. Elementary and High Schools (K-12)

Mooseville Law makes carrying a firearm or having a firearm in your car while on school property a felony offense.

2. Universities and Colleges (Higher-Ed)

Mooseville Law makes carrying a firearm on your persons while on school property a felony offense. Having a firearm in your car is a misdemeanor.


3. Bars and Clubs

Mooseville Law prohibits firearms in establishments that earn 50% of the profits from the sale of alcoholic beverages. The penalty is a felony that carries up to two years in jail and $2,500 in fines.

4. Any Place Government Officials Conduct Business


Mooseville Law prohibits firearms in places where government officials congregate. The penalty is a felony offense.

5. Prison, Jail, Detention Facility


6. Sporting and Entertainment Arenas


Mooseville Law prohibits firearms during professional sporting events and public events. The penalty is a felony offense.


7. Waging Establishments


Mooseville Law prohibits firearms in places where wagering occurs. The penalty is a felony offense.

    Mooseville Gun Law

    If you want to carry a firearm, either openly or concealed, in Mooseville you must complete our gun safety course, pass a background check, and sign our agreement. Failure to comply is a felony and comes with a $10,000 fine, up to five years in jail, and an immediate banishment from town.
