Mr. Raccoon (possibly)
After searching for nearly thirty years, the Mooseville police say they think they've finally found Mr. Raccoon.
"We can't be entirely sure it's him," says Woody Shackles, Mooseville Police Chief. "We're still waiting on DNA testing."
Mr. Raccoon's disappearance caused great alarm among the Mooseville community when it first happened. Many suspected foul play.
"If this is Mr. Raccoon, we believe he may have died from a Milk Dud overdose, but we're not ruling anything out."
There will be a memorial service in honor of Mr. Raccoon at the Great Gazebo in Mooseville Park Wednesday at 10 am.
