Keep Your Head Up is the debut single from Andy Grammer's 2011 album, Andy Grammer. In the US, the song peaked at No. 5 on Adult Top 40 and was used in the 2012 movie, Pitch Perfect. Grammer released a bilingual version titled Relève la tête that reached No. 156 in France.
SONG OF THE tuesDAY
Electric Lady was the fourth and final single released from Janelle Monáe’s second studio album, The Electric Lady (2013). Released on July 30, 2014, Electric Lady is a female empowerment song that features Solange. The music video was directed by Alan Ferguson and has a lot of cameos.
SONG OF THE wednesDAY
Glitter In the Air is from P!nk's 2008 album, Funhouse. Released in 2010 in North America only, it landed at No. 18 in the US, making it the fifth single from that album to chart. Her performance of the song at the 2010 Grammy Awards is well worth the watch.

SONG OF THE thursDAY
Written by John Ellison, Some Kind of Wonderful was first recorded by Soul Brothers Six in 1967 that peaked at No. 91 on Billboard Hot 100. Grand Funk Railroad recorded the song in 1974 for their album All the Girls In the World Beware!!!. Their version hit No. 3.
SONG OF THE friDAY
Written by Lee Hazlewood, These Boots Are Made For Walkin' was recorded by Nancy Sinatra and released in 1965 from the album, Boots. The song hit No. 1 on Billboard Hot 100. Sinatra recorded a promotional film, later called a music video, that played on video jukeboxes in 1966.
SONG OF THE saturDAY
Pocketful of Sunshine was recorded by Natasha Bedingfield and released in 2008 as the second single from her album, Pocketful of Sunshine. It is her most successful hit in the U.S., peaking at No. 5 on Billboard Hot 100. Bedingfield has claimed the song as her favorite.

Sister Christian was released in 1984 from Night Ranger's album, Midnight Madness. The song was the band's biggest hit, peaking at No. 5 on Billboard Hot 100. It was written by drummer Kelly Keagy for his sister, Christy. The lyric was 'Sister Christy', but band members heard 'Christian' instead.
