The James Bond Theme was written by Monty Norman and arranged by John Barry. It was used in the first James Bond film, Dr. No (1962) and has been included as part of the gun barrel sequence of nearly every James Bond film since. Monty Norman and John Barry, who has composed 11 James Bond film soundtracks, have battled in court for songwriting credit with Norman winning both times.

GoldenEye is the title song from the 1995 James Bond film, 007: GoldenEye. It was written by Bono and the Edge of U2 specifically for Tina Turner. Another song producers were considered was The GoldenEye by Ace of Base, which was later reworked into The Juvenile. Producers went with Turner and GoldenEye instead. The song was released on the original soundtrack and on Turner's 1996 album, Wildest Dreams. iTunes has the song attributed to Ike and Tina Turner on the original soundtrack, which is bullshit. Ike Turner didn't have anything to do with the song.
