Marvin Gaye's Mercy Mercy Me (The Ecology) was released on the 1971 album, What's Going On. The song is a poignant anthem of sorrow about the environment and was Gaye's third single to win a Grammy Hall of Fame Award.

It's Raining Men was was first offered to Diana Ross, Donna Summer, Cher, and Barbra Streisand before The Weather Girls recorded it 1982. Their version become an international hit and sold over 6 million copies worldwide.

Primavera is from Santana's 1999 album, Supernatural which won a total of nine Grammy awards, including Album of the Year, 3 Latin Grammy awards, and went platinum 15 times.

Big Yellow Taxi was written by Joni Mitchell and featured on the 1970 album, Ladies of the Canyon. The song was written while Mitchell was visiting Hawaii and is one of the most popular environmental concern songs ever recorded.

Earth Day is celebrated on April 22 every year and is a demonstration of the support for the protection of the environment. The song Earth is from British singer, Imogen Heap's third studio album, Ellipse (2009).

Written primarily by Paul McCartney, with some help from John Lennon, Mother Nature's Son was recorded in 1968 and featured on the White Album. McCartney recorded it without the other Beatles and took 25 takes to get it right.
