SONG OF THE wednesDAY

Salt-N-Pepa's Let's Talk about Sex is about safe sex, the pros and cons of sex, and censorship. It's an intelligent take on what others typically turn into a tawdry and cheap affair.

SONG OF THE thursDAY

Doo Wop (That Thing) debuted at number one on Billboard Top 100, the 10th song ever to do so. Surprisingly it's also Hill's only Billboard Top 100 number one.

SONG OF THE friDAY

Most songs about Friday are solid including Ice Cube's Friday from the soundtrack to the 1995 movie, Friday starring Ice Cube and Chris Tucker.

SONG OF THE saturDAY

A sneak-peek at our next featured artist, Missy Elliott's The Rain (Supa Dupa Fly) samples Ann Peebles' 1973 single I Can't Stand the Rain and has got a pretty cool video, taboot.
